I was going through my blog and noticed that I didn't show my block 2 that I created in this EQ7 Summer Drawing - Draw and Sew Along. So here it is.

Before I start to sew today I thought that I should do the EQ7 Summer Drawing Block. Here is the one that I did this morning.

These series has been so much fun to learn some different things in EQ7 that I didn't know about. Know since I need to make sure that I have something to quilt each day this month, this will be great to sew out these applique.

Better late, than never

I did actually sew yesterday on the 1st of July for Pat's challenge. Here is what I did yesterday.

July 2013 - Sew Every Day Challenge by Pat Sloan.

I have been doing a lot of HST this year. Of course that is what I was sewing on yesterday was some more HST's I actually did 30 of them yesterday. I am going to make a king size quilt out of all of them, so when I make the I put them into a bin until I have enough to start sewing them all together, these are mainly made out of scraps from other quilts that I have made. I went and bought a HST ruler yesterday, it really makes life so much easier when trimming all these HST.

July Challenge

July 2013 - Sew Every Day Challenge by Pat Sloan.

Pat Sloan has a great challenge going on it's sew every day in the month of July. I am going to do my best to at least sew something every day. Then post it here. Which will also help me this month to write something everyday to my blog.

Another Quilt Along

Another Quilt Along..

The Quilting Gallery and Pat Sloan’s have done it again. Another Quilt Along - Aiming for Accuracy Quilt-Along

I did one with them last year and learned so much.
There will be lots of great blocks to make that you can use up those fat quarters you have laying around and not sure what to do with. There will be some wonderful prizes.

New Ironing Board Cover

My Ironing board cover has seen better days. I've had it for more than 10 years, so it's about time for a new one. I went to see how much they where at the store, then realized I could make that for less. I already have fabric that I don't think that I wouldn't use in a quilt right now anyway.
