My favorite techniques is making 4 half square triangles from a square. I am doing this with Angela Walters pattern Half Hours. This techniques makes making half square triangles so easy. I just love it.
I actually did a video (I am not a professional) lol. I made 85 squares that made 340 half square triangles. One tip is to make sure you have a sharp blade in your rotary cutter.
I have showed my sewing room on my last blog post but thought that I would share it again on this blog hop.

Here is a picture of my progress. Still want to put some boards on it and make it a little bit bigger.
Back last year in March after my procedure, my husband took me Liberty Missouri. Most quilters will know who is in Liberty Missouri. Yes I went to "Quilting is my Therapy" and I actually got to meet Angela Walters. I was so excited to meet her, such a wonder person.
While I was there I got one of her kits with some Tula Pink backing. I wasn't able to start to put it together until this month, with everything that was going on.
But here is the pattern that I bought and started working on it.
A lot of clipping.
There are a total of 81 blocks I have done 65 so far.
There is a couple other projects that I was working on this month.
I made a baby quilt for my new grandson that is going to be born any day now.
I will add a picture of the completed quilt soon. I have already packed it before I got a picture of it.
Canning Season Quilt-Along There are a lot of half square triangles in this Quilt-Along I have completed about 200 of the 1000 triangles. I'm not sure if I can actually count those toward my 350 blocks project or not, because they will going into blocks them selfs.
I am using Tula Pink fabric for this Quilt-Along and making my half square triangles 1.5" using the Thangles that I had.
For now I am going to finish packing my bags and head down to GA tomorrow morning to see my first grandson when he's born.
I can't believe that January is already coming to a close. For the first part of the month I was very sick with the flu so I didn't get to quilt very much. I only did 12 blocks done for this month for The 350 Blocks Project that Prairie Moon Quilts puts on ever year. Below are the blocks that I did this month.
My mom and I are doing a challenge with each other with stripe fabric. There was a video from Missouri Star Quilt Co. Called The Quartered Stripes Quiltthat we are making it with
Here is the stripe fabric that I am using:
Here are some of the blocks from the fabric. Which I did these in one day. I still have 1 1/4 yard of fabric to cut out. We both bought double the amount of fabric so we could make a bigger quilt.
There is 10 blocks of my for the month.
I am also doing the Rainbow Scrap Challenge 2017, I have a lot of scraps that I need to use up. This month was Purple (which you all know is my fav color). I am doing row of scrappy fabric. See below the start of my row.
For the month of February will be See Green.
With being so sick for a while, I decided I needed to change my sewing room around.
Here is a short tour of my sewing room, I still have some more organizing to do.
First time using the iMovie software.
So for the month of January wasn't to bad, even though I was sick.
