Quilt Qwazy Queens 2017

My favorite techniques is making 4 half square triangles from a square.  I am doing this with Angela Walters pattern Half Hours.  This techniques makes making half square triangles so easy.  I just love it.




I actually did a video (I am not a professional) lol.
I made 85 squares that made 340 half square triangles.
One tip is to make sure you have a sharp blade in your rotary cutter.








I have showed my sewing room on my last blog post but thought that I would share it again on this blog hop.

  22. Your way of doing HSTs looks so easy. Bias edge isn't too hard to sew as it is usually put next to a straight edge.

  24. My favorite HST technique is chain piecing cut and paired triangles. There are many good ways to make HST for many good quilters to enjoy. Thanks for sharing your happy quilty place with us today ... :) Pat

  28. I love making my HST like this too! just practiced yesterday on a 10" layer cake and a 5" charm block. I needed to know the sizes of pinwheels I could get. It worked out nicely.
