We’ll be making 12 or 13 – 12″ finished blocks for our quilt. You’ll have two options for putting your quilt together: either a standard layout with 4 rows and 3 blocks per row or an on-point layout that Pat Sloan will be teaching us how to do. The blocks are a Mystery .. you’ll have to check back each week to see the latest one.
You'll have to go to the blog Beginner’s Quilt-Along to get the Fabric requirements and they will be also giving away :
Reliable IronThe folks at Reliable Corporation have donated a Digital Velocity V100 iron to one lucky blog reader that helps us spread the word about the quilt-along to others.
So spread the word... Beginner’s Quilt-Along
I know you may say why are you doing a beginner's quilt since you have been quilting since 2008, well to tell you the truth, I need as much practice as possible. So doing things like this will really help...
Anyway here is my fabric that I have chosen for this quilt.
I haven't picked up the backing yet, will do that next week.
I can't wait till June 7th when we can get started on this Beginner’s Quilt-Along.
