New to blogging

Ok this year is going to be different, I am going to quilt more and learn new techniques. Also start a blog. :).
So that's why I am starting this blog. I have been reading so many blogs. That I thought ok this is the year that I am going to do something that's out of my comfort zone.
Not sure how this all works yet but will learn.

Where to start.... Hmmmm... Ok.. Let's start with the name of my blog. UCanQuilt2. Where did this come from?
About 3 or 4 years ago my mom and I went to Paducha. That was when I really started to quilt and fell in love with this art. She bought a long arm quilting machine from APQS and I bought my first sewing machine a Janome embroidery & sewing. We were like two kids in a candy store, this was the first time my mom and I have ever gone some place like this together and by our selfs. It was wonderful, (when I go back to my computer I will post some pictures of our trip, I am using mt iPad and can't post pictures).
Anyway, back to where the name came from. On our way back home we thought about opening our own fabric/quilt shop. We was thinking of different names to call this shop. That's where the name come about, it first started as You Can Quilt Too & more fabric shop which that name was way to long. So I shorted it by just calling it UcanQuilt2. Because my mom keep telling me that "you can quilt too" just like these quilts at Paducha if you just put your mind to it.
I love it....
Our fabric shop hasn't really took off yet, due to life. But it will some day. But for now I am trying to get the name out. I created a web site, not done yet.
Ok enough of all that. Now I need to learn about all this blogging thing. Until later.
